“Leon” in Lisbon. Once again, the universal myth layer is improvised by a performer whose aims are to combine contrasts and to put questions about the borders between – again a dichotomy – humanity and animalism, through what the performer calls his transgenic and transsexual approach of art. “Leon’s” incredibly rich and diverse corpus of inspirational images have for some time led me to fragmentary thoughts about the relations between body, religion and theatre.
